Greg Mortenson shold have one the Nobel Peace Prize
This is an example someone who should have one the Nobel Peace Prize.
Found on PBS Website: http://www.pbs.org/now/news/309.html
Greg Mortenson
Greg Mortenson grew up on the slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Tanzania from 1958 to 1973. He served as a medic in the U.S. Army in Germany during the Cold War, where he received the Army Commendation Medal.
Mortenson's lifelong interest in mountaineering culminated in a 1993 climb of Pakistan's treacherous K2, the world's second highest mountain. Since then, Mortenson has dedicated his life to promoting education, especially for girls, in remote, often volatile regions of Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Mortensen has established over 58 schools through his nonprofit, Central Asia Institute, which provides education to over 24,000 children (including about 14,000 girls), in areas where children previously had few education opportunities. Mortenson is also the founder of Pennies for Peace, an organization that educates American children about the world beyond their experience and shows them that they can make a positive impact on a global scale, one penny at a time. While not overseas, Mortenson lives in Montana with his wife and two young children. He is the author of "Three Cups of Tea: One Man's Mission to Promote Peace...One School at a Time."

Whisky Tango Foxtrot! President Barack Obama wins Nobel Peace Prize
AP Story: President Barack Obama wins Nobel Peace Prize
Barry was in office for 3 days when he was nominated for the NPP! Well I guess he is just guy number three to receive it because he is not George Bush. (Al gore and Jimmmmy)
One thing makes sense now.---- Obama dragging his feet in sending troops to Afghanistan. Just can't get the NPP if you are sending troops into battle (from a lefty/progressive view point that is) .
I have no way of knowing, but in a previous post, Where is the Calvary, I asked: What is the risk to Obama in sending more troops? What mission will be jeopardized? What are Obama true goals.
The risk was to Obama himself.
The mission in Jeopardy was receipt of the NPP.
I still don't know what his true goals are but I can guarantee the "mainstream" press will address Barry as "Nobel Peace Prize winner Obama" to give him credibility and gravitas in whatever
What is really scary is that it is entirely possible that a United States president may have let his thinking be changed because of his NPP nomination. (This can also be called manipulation)
There are much more worthy candidates out there.........but the left never has to quantify anything. We have not seen any change from Barry that could even warrant a nod from the committee. If you know of something, please let me know.

Whodunit? Sneak attack on U.S. dollar
Mr. Liberty sends me this:

Story: Whodunit? Sneak attack on U.S. dollar
"I remember an article some months back about how the Government conducted war games not by using our Armies and Navies but by economics. Seems they had a valid concern in conducting these war games. And if I remember correctly China won all of them. What could be a better way to weaken America then through economics? Did our governmet do this intentionally? I don't believe so. I think they were sold a bill of goods that was to tempting to say no to. China and various Middle Eastern countries have bought the majority of Americas debt. If the green back is no longer king then our debt will increase ten fold. It seems few Washingtonians think long term." (ML)

NYC Bllomberg Gun Sting.
Just announced on Fox News that New York City mayor Bloomberg is releasing video of Illegal gun transactions, reportedly "Thousands of dollars worth of loaded Firearms sold at or near a gun show."
Now I am not a big fan of NY gun laws, they are overly restrictive and often misused by officials who have little knowledge of the firearm culture. Additionally Bloomberg has alligned himself with Chuck "The Schmuck" Schumer on ant gun issues including suing of gun manufactures. Article: Clicky Click
My gut feeling that this is being done to coincide with the current Supreme Court McDonald v. Chicago and to muster up public emotion support and possibly influence the court.
Updated! Daily News Link
Lets break this down, if a person with criminal intent is willing to drive across many states, seek a private dealer and purchase a handgun, for criminal purposes, how would another restrictive law stop him from doing it. It just would not happen in the gun show. Luckily most people I have ever met behind the tables at gun shows are simply great people and fall into generally 3 categories, the Professional Shop Owner/Dealer, the private collector/enthusiast, and the oddity/accessory types.
Since the general public is generally ill informed about fire arms and If you are un famlure with what I am talking about ley me decribe.

American thinker: The Trauma of Obama
Article: American thinker: The Trauma of Obama by a psychotherapist and a recovering liberal in Berkeley.
Some snipits to wet your appetite.
"Because I'm a psychotherapist, I'm intrigued by what goes on inside and outside. People not only suffer because of neurotic minds, but because of what people do to us when they abuse their power."
"Yes, there are plenty of people so far into the communist schtick, they would gladly sacrifice their children, their granny, and their life savings for the Left.
But most liberals still want their houses, jobs, Hondas and iPods. When they voted for Obama, they weren't giving a thumbs up for the country to go the way of Ché.
So there's a strange, foreboding vibe in these parts; that creepy feeling you get when you know there's bad news ahead."

Dear Jayne
Dear Jayne,
J.A. Jekyll Island, GA
J. Cobb
I am a 40 year old father of four. I have been married for almost 10 years. When I first started dating my wife (some considerable number of years ago), I began putting beans into a jar every time, ah, to put it delicately, we were together. Contrastingly, when we got married I started taking a bean out every time we were together. Well, now I can't find the jar. I haven't seen it in over a year and it's possible she threw it out. What should I do?
J.A. Jekyll Island, GA
What you are saying flies in the face of every kinda sense. There be better things to be collecting in the Vrese other than beans. And you only have four of the we ones? Your woman barren? My advice is to fetch your favorite "shooting iron" and "Go to town", if you know what I mean. I recommend taking a a Callahan full-bore auto-lock with a customized trigger. (Its my favorite.) Afterwords go to the whore house and get neked with the wimmin folk.
J. Cobb
Dear Centurion,
Dear Centurion,
I am 23 year old recent graduate from my local community college and am having a tough time trying to find my next job. I am presently employed working at the local sports bar and making some pretty good money cooking, and part time behind the bar; not to mention I have a lot of opportunity to meet some very good looking, fun loving drunk girls. So far this hasn't been a bad gig. I have had an offer to work part time in a home mortgage/banking setting but it would be half the pay, and little chance to meet any drunk skanks, but it would be a start to a new career. What should I do?
J.K. Jacksonville, FL
You are ordered to report to your local detention center for interrogation and processing. It is advised that all other humanoids including the subspecies skank report also.

Mmmm, Mmmmm, Mmmm. Drink your own Kool-Aid
Story: Obama's Gitmo blame game
Looks as if Barry is about to throw White house counsel Greg Craig under the bus for missing the self imposed deadline for Closing Club Gitmo.
“To a certain extent, they had drunk a lot of the far-left Kool-aid: that everybody, or most people, at Guantanamo were innocent and shouldn’t be there, and the Bush administration was not working very hard to resolve these issues, and that the issues were fairly easy to resolve once adults who were really committed to doing something about it in charge,” said one Bush official who met with Obama’s aides during the transition on Gitmo. “It became clear to me they had not really done their homework on the details.”

Where is the Calvery?
I hear from the present administration that we need to hurry on a number of vital issues; such TARP, The Stimulus Plan, and Health Care. It has even been stated that we dont even have time to read the legislation, and these programs must be expedited because the consequences are so dire. (OMG Hurry!)
But, when our military commanders on the ground request more troops the administration demands caution and review. Why the hem-hawing? I ask what is the risk of sending more troops? What am I missing?
I ask, what are the risks to national security, my men, and stability in the region. What is the down side of too many troops, but I am thinking like a military person.
But Obama is not thinking this way. I have yet to fully understand his line of thinking, rational, or logic but I am gaining some insight. In his recent pitch to the Olympic committee he used the word I about a gazillion times (actually I think it was in the twenties). This is unheard of for a US President and for most leaders too. Most leaders rarely refer to themselves, and if they do, they do it in such a way as to minimize their individuality and to maintain focus on the team. For example "I want this mission to succeed" vs "This commander wants this mission to succeed" The over use of the word I by Obama is very telling. It reveals a narcissism and self importance that would be comical if it wasn't so chilling at the same time.
So the real questions are:
What is the risk to Obama in sending more troops?
What mission will be jeopardized?
What are Obama true goals.
I am not sure what the answers are but the result is delay, and delay means the loss of initiative. With the loss of initiative we become forced to react to our enemy, we get put on a defencive/reactive posture, and that leads to Allied solders, Afghan security, and civilian lives as well as a campaign lost.

It's the end of the world as we know it.....(2012 Film)
This looks like another case of CGI gone awry. We have Earthquakes, meteors, floods, the end of the Mayan calendar, an eclipse! No Friggin way! Clicky Click for the story from the daily mail UK
We have an RV camper under meteor attack. Airplanes flying off crumbling runways. collapsing sky scrapers and mile high tsunami. Any one want to talk about the physics involved here? Any of my geologist friends want to take a stab at what it would take to lift a 50 square mile chunk of bed rock, with a city on it, up to a 45 degree angle in 30 seconds? Who cares just drive around it. You are just that good.
My comment on CGI: Just because you can doesn't mean you should.
A better end of the world video: Clicky Click. (And I feel fine)

'Capitalism' filmmaker Michael Moore isn't feeling the love
Seems like Mikey isn't feeling so good about the return on his effort from his latest anti-capitalism film. (Ha ha!) And do I feel bad? Nope, And why? Could it be the irony? You bet. snicker!
Story: http://www.usatoday.com/life/movies/news/bla,bla,bla
Now just a thought, not that I'm advocating doing anything wrong, but what if people happend to show up to see the film but refused to pay for whatever reason. Perhaps maybe because they don't want to support Michael Moore in a capitalistic way.
Now don't worry there is a an antidote if you happen to accidentally watch a Moore film. I recommend picking up a copy and reading Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. (In my humble opinion is one of the most influential books I have ever read .)
I hope he takes a loss on this one, and I bet he blames everyone but himself for it. snicker! But if you saw it plase write a review in the comments section.
