Its been a long time since i put something up on The BruHa, and quite frankly Ive been way too busy and unmotivated and disgusted with the state of the world to come up with anything new.  However a dear friend of mine, Captain Dave Champion Goat Wrangler and part time cow whisperer, used the team "Flea Party" in reference to the Wall Street Protesters.  Well I about shot my beverage out of my nose and decided they needed a flag that symbolizes their political movement.  So in less time than it takes a hipster to score pot in Zuccotti Park I put together this Flag.  Copy and paste freely if you like.  (If someone makes a flag send one on me please)

Update: Dave "The Amazing Bowel" has informed me that Ann Coulter is the originator of the term "Flea Party" and does not want the credit.

A Conservation group wants to stop a solar plant?

I haven't posted for a while but when I inadvertently came across this article, Conservation group sues to stop California solar plant, I was really taken back.  I thought " how on earth could a group called the Western Watersheds Project be against solar energy?  Just how does a solar panel disturb a water shed?  If and when it rains, and if that rain doesn't hit the ground because it hits a solar panel, what will happen?  Will the precious water be transported to the Eastern Water Shed?  My bet is it will run off the solar panel and wind up on the ground.  Now this is just an intuitive guess, but please correct me if I am wrong.  So I looked up this organization and mission statement. "The mission of Western Watersheds Project is to protect and restore western watersheds and wildlife through education, public policy initiatives and litigation. Ahhhh!  Thats it  they seem to be partly profesional litigators. 

"The complaint said the project's approval process failed to analyze and mitigate the Ivanpah plant's impact on migratory birds, the desert tortoise, which is a threatened species under federal law, desert bighorn sheep, groundwater resources and rare plants.

Oakland, California-based Brightsource has taken measures to assuage environmentalists' concerns about the project. So I ask, At what point is man allowed to change his environment?  At what point does it stop?  Yes any thing that is changed does effect something else.  Build a road and nature will react.  Deer will eat the grass in the right of way.  Tortoises will slowly try to cross the road, some successfully,  others not so much.  Does that mean don't build roads?  Do we build wildlife bridges and tourus tunnels every 100 yards?  Should we force feed Pandas and artificially inseminate them because the are on an evolutionary dead end of specialization?

It's time to really think about nature.  Man is neither strong, or fast.  Man has inferior teeth for tearing meat or chewing vegetation.  Claws?  Nope.  Man is a creature that survives and thrives because he changes his environment rather than adapt to it.  His primary tool; his brain.  Man survives by interpreting his environment rationally and using his intellect to survive.  Cold?.....  Make clothing......  Hungry?.....  Farm.  Hot?....... Aiconditioning.  Want to get laid?  Lipstick, tramp stamp and fake tits.  (Did I make my point?)

Now I'm not saying it's OK to srtipmine the earth and not resore it.  Thats like saying, "I'm going to eat all my food now.  Screw saving any for the winter.  Thats not rational as is the actions of overspecialized litigation hounds bringing suit.

Tea Party Infiltrators at the Jacksonville Landing

I attended the Jacksonville I am against over-taxation and the Nanny State Tea Party last night and had a pretty good time.  Like last year the turn out was pretty good, the speakers, though obviously novices were impassioned and patriotic.  The organizers, speakers as well as the mainstream attendees were polite and enthusiastic.  I was proud to have been in attendance and made some new friends. ( High Five to "Short guy" from the 82nd airborne!)  I also met LeAnne Kolb who is running for the house District 3, and if you now Florida house seats that is Corine Browns district.  If you want a good laugh just watch Corrine Brown  in action: Go Gata!  LeAnn has a long way to go. She is just starting out and Browns district is one of the most Gerrymandered districts in FL. I wish her the best of luck.

As for the infiltrators, this photo is of two moonbat dweeb lefftards that decided to try to stir things up.  Moonbat 1&2 decided to talk shit, loudly I might add.  The navy guys next to us called them out on it and that's why JSO officer is keeping watch on them.  Hired help in this photo-is a local vagrant/ret-a drunk. 

Some notes on the "hired help guy".  His shirt was brand new. It had fresh packaging fold creases in it.  He also carried a screwdriver in his back pocket, but he probably calls it a "shank" or a "shiv".  He seemed to be moving around the crowd quite a bit and at times he was seen to carrying a motorcycle helmet though I doubt he has one.  He also showed up real quick when the Navy dudes called the Moonbats out and got between them.  JSO watched him pretty close.

As for the moonbats, the just their mouths trying to start shit.  Moonbat 2 said to me, "Yeah,  I know who John Galt is.", referring to my shirt.  I politely let him know that I found it hard to believe he read read over 2,000 pages of anything in his entire life, and that he and his buddy should go home, put a frozen pizza in the toaster oven and jerk off to 4chan.  They looked a bit supprised about the last bit, I think it hit too close to home.

Then there was photographer guy.  He did not listen, clap, cheer or anything.  All he did is take pictures.  He took pictures of people and signs. Specificly close ups of faces. He paled around with another guy that did not seem into the rally and also hid when he noticed I was trying to take his picture.


I would love to know who these people are.  If you know, please tell.

Barry I hate to tell you this but you are doing it all wrong. The reason unemployment is so high is because job recovery has never in the history of our country been from the top down, it has been from the bottom up.   If jobs are to increase it has to start with small business, not from the government. 

Things are crappy for small business's. Manny are holding on by a thread, those that are doing well can't get loans to expand, upgrade, or employ, and the upstart finds it difficult to get financing.  Small business are being smothered. 

Why? 
First we have to know who and how a small business starts and works.  Most times an entrepreneur will consolidate capital from himself and often from family friends and investors.  Generally this will come out of the equity in a home.  The ability to get this capital is the essential and driving factor for economic growth.

The sub-prime loaning and subsequent crash  has caused the banks to "Pull back" and become totally miserly thus stifling growth. Additionally real estate prices are, well who knows, In flux?

A scenario:
Gus is a small machine shop owner who wants to buy a couple new CNC milling machines, cut costs and shorten the production time for the specialized parts he uses.  He wants to use the equity that was in his house but cant.  His house is still there, it was worth 350K last year and he had 100K in equity then, but now the bank says its worth much less because the two houses down the street were foreclosed on the market changed.  Sorry you cant get the loan. Gus decides to ride it out and see what next year will be like.

What was lost?
The order for the new the machinery was never placed.
The operators were never hired.
The concrete guy never got to pour the floor in the new shop area.
The electrician never got to hook up the machinery.
The shops production remained slow, costs high, and less able to meet customer demands.
The excavator on the "Shovel ready" stimulus project sits idle and broken as the mechanic calls around the country looking for an "In stock"  replacement part that just happens to be manufactured by Gus.


Jobs follow wealth.  (Money is just the currency we use to represent wealth) If Gus was able to increase his wealth by making hydraulic valve bodies quicker and cheaper, it would have increased the wealth of many others.  Not only those mentioned above but even the part supply house.  They may have been able to keep several in stock and available if the parts were cheaper, made a sale and thus increased their wealth.  The construction crew would be more productive.  The roadway they are building open sooner with less congestion, resulting in less fuel used, lesser emissions, and time wasted sitting in traffic.  The result is more wealth for those that use the road.

If the president wants to reduce unemployment he must first figure out how get the small business going again. 

Why the hell does Snowe belong to the GOP?

With Sen. Olympia Snowe announcing that she is voting for the health care debacle,  (Story:) I find myself wondering why she  or anyone else for that matter consider her a Republican? Please tell me!  I'm dumbfounded! 

I really don' think I have an answer to this question, but what I do know is that the Republican party is not getting one red cent of my money because it supports people like Snowe and McCain.  I will give to individuals based on their merritts, but can no longer blindly shell out $$ to a party that supports these RINO's.  I have grown weary of the Republican Party fund raisers calling with their canned speech Telling me how bad things will be if the Dem's stay in power.  I know that! (And BTW what a shitty platform to have "At least were not Democrats") 

I hope this Healthcare bill crashes and burns and takes those who voted for it out too.

Seems like Mikey isn't feeling so good about the return on his effort from his latest anti-capitalism film. (Ha ha!) And do I feel bad? Nope,  And why?  Could it be the irony?  You bet.    snicker!

Now just a thought, not that I'm advocating doing anything wrong, but what if people happend to show up to see the film but refused to pay for whatever reason. Perhaps maybe because they don't want to support Michael Moore in a capitalistic way. 
 
Now don't worry there is a an antidote if you happen to accidentally watch a Moore film.  I recommend picking up a copy and reading  Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand.  (In my humble opinion is one of the most influential books I have ever read .)

An anti-capitalist protester is a pro what?

I have read a bit, as in Times UK , and seen news reports calling the protesters at the G20 "Anti-capitalist protesters"  Now just who are these people.  Are they socialists? Anarchists? Jihads? Loony leftards? Or a mixed bag of all the above.  To me they seem to deserve a good beating and delousing.
