Another example of Dem Damn Dems.
A D.C. cab driver said he was stiffed by Congressman Jerald Nadler (D-NY), who he said walked off without paying his fare.
Nadler, 8th district in NY, is your typically Assshat Progressive Socialist Dem. He will tout that he is for the little guy but wont think twice about stiffing a cabbie.

Things that are getting under my skin:
Just some thoughts.
The Black Panther poll intimidation case. ( My emotions, mad, scared, disgusted, and very wary.)
a constitutional republic, based on the rule of law. And while I understand and welcome anyone who wants to live in our country, they must first obey the law.
Did ya hear the latest trial balloon? It's the transaction tax. A 1% on all transactions. Buy Starbucks, TAX, use a credit card,TAX, cash a check,TAX, transfer money, from checking to savings,TAX! pay your light bill, TAX.

Missed by a mile!
This Gem was foound in the comments in the Washinton times article http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2010/apr/05/missed-mile/
"If Obama were to become a major league pitcher, he would be the worst in history.... he would whine that its not fair that the batters keep advancing to the base on 4 balls, so Obama would demand that the rules be CHANGED so that he could appear as if he's an All Star Pitcher. He would make the strike zone extend from the dirt to the top of the batter's helmet, and when the ESPN clubhouse reporter asks him, "Do you really think its right to change the rules that have governed the game of baseball for over a century just to make it more 'fair' for the pitcher? You do realize, sir, that the pitcher is only one person playing in the game with 17 other players... right?" Obama would answer, "Now, look, I don't think the fans come to the baseball rink to keep track of the 'rules'. People come out here to see me, and to see other big leaguers. I understand that people like you sports reporters love to harp on the rules of the game, or the process by which the game is played, but I don't think that is something the fans come to see. The fans want to come see me be as fair as possible and they come to watch everyone walk off the field a winner. No one even remembers who 'wins' the games...." ESPN reporter, "What do you have to say to those fans outside the park demanding that you restore the rules of the game and those who say that its the consistency of the rules that have made the game such an exestential part of Americana?" Obama, "Those are the same people who protested the idea of integrating the Negro League into the MLB. Those are voices of hate." ESPN reporter, "Actually, sir, I see a group of diverse people out there and I believe that they are professing their LOVE for the game and that your rules change seems arbitrary and damaging." Obama, "Like I said, they are racists. Trust me, if I say it, its true."

The Health Care Bill Is Not Socialism.
I have taken some time off to watch the Health Care bill unfold, reserving an immediate opinion until I have fully digested what has happened. My immediate reaction was that "This is socialism".
But this bill is not socialism, it is Statism using a socialistic tactic. Look at what has been done; You no longer have ownership of you own body. You are taxed/fined by the mere fact of your existence. By definition you are a subject of the State. Your body is now owned by the State. If you refuse to pay your Tax/Fine you will go to Jail. If you refuse to go to jail the State will KILL you. (Now that's healthy) Your life has now become a privilege granted by the State. My points will not be debated by supporters of this bill in a rational manner. The supporters of this bill and other progressive ideas like this will dismiss me as a nut, but the truth remains. You are no longer a sovereign entity. You are a subject. By no action of your own and only by reason of your existence, you are now coerced to action for the benefit of the State.
What was done is Unconstitutional or more simply stated, against the law and most importantly, immoral.
Our fundamental relationship with the government has changed and the change is for the worse.

TOTUS strikes again!
This proves he has no real Idea about the context of his speech. The word meant nothing to him. NOTHING! It was just a bunch of letters on TOTUS. Go through the motions, move on. It would have been better to say Navy or Marine Medic ( if this person is a Corpsman; but could be a CTI or Interpretive Cryptologic Technicians that handles language translation). This at least would have just shown his lack of understanding of our armed forces.
However this proves; He speaks without understanding! Gulp!
I remember Clinton made a speech on board one of our CVN’s years back. He said something like, “thanks to all the great sailors of this fine ship, from the Stern, (He points aft) to the Bow”, (pronounced as in “bow neck tie” or rimes with “Big Toe” and points forward while glancing at his notes) That was good for a chuckle, this on the other-hand is scary.

Air America Fail
Story: http://mediadecoder.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/01/21/air-america-to-cease-broadcasting-immediately/
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100122/ap_on_en_ot/us_air_america_bankruptcy
Air America was doomed from the very start and I am suppressed it lasted as long as it did. What doomed it was a “Failed Concept” that merely an opposing point of view can be successful in Talk radio.
What makes a talk radio show successful or any other show for that matter is compelling and entertaining content. Example: A large audience portion of Rush’s show do not agree with him politically, but listen to him because he is compelling and entertaining. The same can be said for Howard Stern. Huge numbers of listeners found “lesbian strippers” to be distasteful and disgusting but tuned in buy the thousands every day. I listened to Air America and I rarely found it compelling or entertaining. It did not hold my attention. In short its content sucked. I fully expected to be yelling at my radio but found myself underwhelmed and turned the station in short order.
That said, political talk radio, whether Conservative, Libertarian, or Religious, has a coherent philosophy that subjects are discussed within, resulting in consistent discussions that are often compelling. Couple that with a competent host, some good business practices and you will have a marketable show on your hands. Do this with a superior host and you will have a great show worth millions.
Progressive/Liberal talk fails because its underlying philosophy is incoherent, hidden or nonexistent. Even a great host will suck if the underlying content is crappy. For example, Al Franken is a very skilled comedian and host, but he failed because the content of his show was not coherent, compelling or very entertaining.
In short, Progressive/Liberal ideas fail because of its underlying philosophy or lack thereof. Throwing money, “mad skills”, does not change this. Progressive/Liberal talk radio was doomed from the start, assuming a free market of course.

Epic Loss?
Story: Democrats seek back footing after epic Mass. loss
"Obama himself grimly faced a need to regroup on Wednesday, the anniversary of his inauguration, in a White House shaken by the realization of what a difference a year made."
"The local election played out against a national backdrop of animosity and resentment from voters over persistently high unemployment, Wall Street bailouts, exploding federal budget deficits and partisan wrangling over health care."
I dont necessarily agree this was an "Epic loss for the Dems, but I do feel this race is going to turn the tide between the "Progressives" and the "Constitutionalists", just as the Battle of Midway changed the war in the Pacific in WWII. This is a battle that by all rights the Dems should have won, but didn't.
Why?
A quick note to the RINOS out there. "I am not a Democrat" is not a philosophy. Statism is a bankrupt political philosophy. You will loose also.

This is a battle that by all rights the Dems should have won, but didn't.
Why?
- The Progressive can not state their political ideals out loud, "Statism", because if they do, the ideas are rejected.
- The progressives dismissed the Tea Party "A bunch of Nuts". This can not be further from the truth. The Teabaggers are a mix of Republicans, Democrats, Libertarians, and others that strongly believe that the Constitution is actually a real document that limits our government; and that the Constitution is being ignored and our liberties debased. These Teabaggers are actually constitutionalists that see the big picture. The
KennedyMartha Coakley campaign and the Progressive administration did not and could not run against this. To run against these "Teabaggers"would be to admit their existence, give credit to their ideas, and that is the last thing the progressives can afford.
- The present administration ran and won a campaign on the premise of "We are not George Bush". This worked, but it is a tactic and not a strategy. Tactics may win battles, but they don't necessarily win wars. Tactics must be coupled with sound strategy, and in the political sense, strategy means a sound philosophy. "I am not Bush" is not a philosophy. Statism is a bankrupt political philosophy. Adherence to the constitution is a sound political philosophy as well as promoting Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. Brown ran on this,
KennedyMartha Coakleydid not.
A quick note to the RINOS out there. "I am not a Democrat" is not a philosophy. Statism is a bankrupt political philosophy. You will loose also.

Whisky Tango Foxtrot! President Barack Obama wins Nobel Peace Prize
AP Story: President Barack Obama wins Nobel Peace Prize
Barry was in office for 3 days when he was nominated for the NPP! Well I guess he is just guy number three to receive it because he is not George Bush. (Al gore and Jimmmmy)
One thing makes sense now.---- Obama dragging his feet in sending troops to Afghanistan. Just can't get the NPP if you are sending troops into battle (from a lefty/progressive view point that is) .
I have no way of knowing, but in a previous post, Where is the Calvary, I asked: What is the risk to Obama in sending more troops? What mission will be jeopardized? What are Obama true goals.
The risk was to Obama himself.
The mission in Jeopardy was receipt of the NPP.
I still don't know what his true goals are but I can guarantee the "mainstream" press will address Barry as "Nobel Peace Prize winner Obama" to give him credibility and gravitas in whatever
What is really scary is that it is entirely possible that a United States president may have let his thinking be changed because of his NPP nomination. (This can also be called manipulation)
There are much more worthy candidates out there.........but the left never has to quantify anything. We have not seen any change from Barry that could even warrant a nod from the committee. If you know of something, please let me know.

American thinker: The Trauma of Obama
Article: American thinker: The Trauma of Obama by a psychotherapist and a recovering liberal in Berkeley.
Some snipits to wet your appetite.
"Because I'm a psychotherapist, I'm intrigued by what goes on inside and outside. People not only suffer because of neurotic minds, but because of what people do to us when they abuse their power."
"Yes, there are plenty of people so far into the communist schtick, they would gladly sacrifice their children, their granny, and their life savings for the Left.
But most liberals still want their houses, jobs, Hondas and iPods. When they voted for Obama, they weren't giving a thumbs up for the country to go the way of Ché.
So there's a strange, foreboding vibe in these parts; that creepy feeling you get when you know there's bad news ahead."

Mmmm, Mmmmm, Mmmm. Drink your own Kool-Aid
Story: Obama's Gitmo blame game
Looks as if Barry is about to throw White house counsel Greg Craig under the bus for missing the self imposed deadline for Closing Club Gitmo.
“To a certain extent, they had drunk a lot of the far-left Kool-aid: that everybody, or most people, at Guantanamo were innocent and shouldn’t be there, and the Bush administration was not working very hard to resolve these issues, and that the issues were fairly easy to resolve once adults who were really committed to doing something about it in charge,” said one Bush official who met with Obama’s aides during the transition on Gitmo. “It became clear to me they had not really done their homework on the details.”
